The Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, has announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh for each person accused in the Umesh Pal murder case only if anyone can give vital information that will lead to the arrest of the accused.

By Arvind Ojha: The Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, has announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh for each person accused in the Umesh Pal murder case only if anyone can give vital information that will lead to the arrest of the accused.
A total of five people have been declared wanted in the Umesh Pal murder case, including gangster Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad, against whom the Uttar Pradesh Police have announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh for each accused.
Umesh Pal, the key witness to the 2005 murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal, was shot dead outside his residence in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj on February 24.
A case was registered against five accused at the Dhoomaganj police station. Police have found that gangster Atiq Ahmed, in connivance with his brother Ashraf, hatched the conspiracy to kill Umesh Pal.
