A day ago, Tiger had dropped some stills from the film and he wrote, ‘almost time’. The film is set to go on floors reportedly from January 17 onwards in Mumbai.
Now the latest development on the project is that Alaya F has joined the film’s cast, as per a report in Pinkvilla. The actress got a lot of appreciation for her role in ‘Freddy’ with Kartik Aaryan. The film has three female leads and Alaya is reportedly paired opposite Tiger. This will be Alaya’s big break into a commercial big Hindi movie space. Sonakshi Sinha and Manushi Chillar are the other two actresses in the film as per reports but an official announcement from the makers hasn’t been made yet. Interestingly, none of the actress are paired opposite Akshay and the actor will have no female lead opposite him. The film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in a negative role.
Akshay has an intense, action-packed role in the film and hence there’s no romantic lead opposite him, reportedly. Meanwhile, the makers have promised some never-seen-before action in this one.
While the film will go on floors in Mumbai, it will be shot abroad by the end of February. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and in an interview with the same portal, the director has revealed that the film is an action comedy and there’s an interesting twist in it which may act as an ode to the old ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.
