By India Today Web Desk: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on Sunday lashed out at the ‘tukde-tukde gang’ and said the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is capable of driving the gang out of the country. The deputy chief minister’s statement came while he was addressing an ABVP program in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria.
The minister further said his party stands firmly with the ABVP.
“We can free India from the ‘tukde-tukde gang’, or put the gang behind bars if every youngster in the country pledges to do the same,” Brajesh Pathak said.
The deputy CM said India’s youth is dedicated to serving the nation.
Every person in the country dreams of serving the nation and sharing equal responsibilities for the same, he said.

Further, Pathak said the ABVP has worked on preparing a team that works for the welfare of India, and not just for the students.
“I have myself been a student leader and hence understand the fact that working on the students’ grievances should be our priority,” he said.
On Saturday, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad hit out at Rahul Gandhi over Bharat Jodo Yatra and said those belonging to the ‘tukde-tukde gang’ are walking with Gandhi.
His statement came as the Congress leader charged the political atmosphere following his address from the Red Fort, where he claimed that the yatra’s purpose is to unite India.
