Recently, director Rohit Shetty took to his IG handle to share an image from the sets of the show, that was being shot at a railway station in Hyderabad. The image showed Sidharth standing near the footboard of a train, pointing a gun at someone (not seen in the image). Sharing the same, Rohit said that this part reminded him of his Chennai Express days, where a major portion of the movie was shot in a train. He wrote, “Shooting a train action sequence reminds me of Chennai Express days…@sidmalhotra #IndianPoliceForce @primevideoin”.
Later, Sidharth took to his IG handle to reshare the same image, saying that his crew was ‘Ek number Team’. He wrote, “@itsrohitshetty Ek number Team 1⃣ Shooting Action #IndianPoliceForce #rohitshettyteam #Hyderabad”. In the image, the crew is standing on the platform, as Rohit, healing from an injury is seen in a cast.
Earlier, the Simmba director had taken to his IG handle to share that the last year was a roller coaster ride for him, right from Cirkus debacle to his accident. He wrote, “From Cirkus to my accident on set, my team and I have gone through a lot in the last few weeks! WE RISE, WE FALL, BUT WE RISE AGAIN NOT JUST TO FIGHT THE BATTLE, BUT TO WIN IT!!! Shooting the last schedule of INDIAN POLICE FORCE in HYDERABAD before we commence the pre-production of SINGHAM AGAIN.”
Indian Police Force will also star Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty in key roles.
