Alia Bhatt talks about how motherhood changed her and reveals Ranbir Kapoor and her family have been

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor who got married in April last year, became parents to a baby girl Raha Kapoor in November 2022. Ever since then, Ranbir and Alia have been extrememely protective parents. Not to mention, they clearly can’t stop gushing about their daughter and has all their attention on her.
In a recent interview Alia spoke about how she dealt with becoming a mother at the peak of her career and how she balances everything. The actress opened up in an interview with Humans Of Bombay that, it’s a very regular feeling but it’s important to tell yourself that you’re doing your best. Moreover, it’s important for mothers to take their required maternity leave, especially when they are nursing and taking care of their child. Alia sent out a message very loudly that all the big corporatations and businesses must give mothers their required maternity leave.

Alia further shared that she had very understanding producers who gave her the exact amount of time off that she wanted because it’s important for a mother to take care of her mental health. If she is happy, she would also keep the baby happy. The actress said she could manage it all, also because of the unconditional support which she got from her husband Ranbir Kapoor, sister Shaheen Bhatt and her mother. But it’s a journey which is just beginning, says Alia as there is so much more to explore. Having said that, Alia confessed that it’s the best journey she has been on, in her life.
The actress recently was in Kashmir where she shot for ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The film has been wrapped up now and will release in July.
