Anushka decked up in a pink saree and was seen accompanying Virat for the ‘Bhasma Aarti’ ceremony which is performed during the Brahma Muhurta between 4 and 5:30 in the morning. The couple also performed the Jalabhishek there. Post the rituals, Virat and Anushka also spent some time in the temple. Previously, Virat and Anushka had taken off to Rishikesh for a spiritual outing, wherein they had visited Swami Dayanand Giri Ashram. Several pictures of the couple praying at the ashram had gone viral on the internet.
Recently, Virat Kohli had hailed Anushka for making sacrifices for motherhood. During an RCB podcast, Virat had said, “The way things have been in the past two years, we have had our child and, as a mother, the sacrifices that she made have been massive. Looking at her, I realised whatever problems I had were nothing. As far as expectations are concerned, as long as your family loves you for who you are, you don’t expect much because that is the basic requirement.”
In December last year, Anushka Sharma announced the wrap of her OTT debut movie ‘Chakda Xpress’. She will step into the shoes of celebrated Indian pace bowler Jhulan Goswami for this sports drama.
