The EASIEST Ways To Earn Extra Cash Online…

1. Online Verdict Overview

Online Verdict is looking for online mock jurors to work from home. In this role you will be paid to review legal cases by providing feedback through their online questionnaire about each case.  No prior experience needed in order to apply for this role as long as you are 18 years of age and a United States citizen. When visiting the website and sign up page, you will need to provide some demographic information, county and federal district to determine your eligibility and case assignment. You will also be asked to set up a username and password and once set up in the system, you will then begin receiving invitations through email to accept the case for review.

One thing to note is that your online profile is where you will be asked more detailed identity questions on up to other classification questions like marital status, employment status etc, which allows the platform to appropriately categorize your information for the appropriate cases. If you are uncomfortable answering these types of questions then this may not be the best site for you you and that’s O.K. If you are willing to move forward with building your profile on the platform, you will also be asked to agree to their terms and conditions in order to move on in the process.

From the attorney’s perspective, they will have the option to choose 25 or 50 people to participate in a jury case. They use the information in the registered system and you will be contacted if you fit the profile of what they are looking for in a jury but you have the option to decline by simply not responding to the invite, should you have no interest in the case. If you have interest in moving forward with a case, the email contains all the next step information.

Online Verdict & Payments

Each case will take anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes to complete depending on the length of the case. You will be paid $20 to $60 dollars per case. As an independent contractor, this also means that you manage your own taxes. To ensure that you track that appropriately, go ahead and get a 1099 from the company to show your earnings to file with your yearly taxes.

Online Verdict Final Thoughts

Although Online Verdict are unable to guarantee a specific number of cases per juror, this still makes the role good for those who want to earn extra side income.  Caseloads will ultimately depend on the number of attorneys in your area using the system at that time. That said, should you decide that Online Verdict isn’t the best match for you, there are no long-term commitments or fees associated with canceling and deleting your account. Online Verdict does have a supportive tech department to assist you further with anything connected to account access or deactivation.

2. eJury Overview

eJury is another legal case review company that pays individuals as online mock jurors. eJury allows attorneys to conduct mock trials and get feedback from a virtual jury. The platform provides a way for attorneys to get insights into how potential jurors may perceive their case, before the actual trial begins. You will need to be 18 years of age be a citizen of the United States without any convicted felony records This company recruits online jurors from all 50 states and pay will depend on the caseload.

Attorneys can sign up to use eJury and submit their case details, including witness statements, evidence, and legal arguments. eJury then selects a pool of mock jurors from its database of registered users based on demographics such as age, gender, education level, and occupation, to match the potential jury pool in the actual trial location. These mock jurors are asked to review the case materials and provide feedback on questions related to liability, damages, and credibility.

Similar to Online Verdict, your profile set up involves a list of identity and categorical questions. If you are uncomfortable answering these types of questions this kind of online work might not be the best for you and that’s O.K.

eJury & Payments

On average sources report that online jurors could earn anywhere from $5-$10 per case, offered through an active PayPal account. The payment amount will be presented at the top of each case, so you can decide which cases you have interest in participating in. eJury sends out case materials to its mock jurors via email and provides a deadline by which they need to submit their feedback. The deadline can range from a few days to a week or more, depending on the specific case.
