By Nagarjun Dwarakanath: Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Basavaraj Bommai said on Monday that the Bharatiya Janata Party would come back to power based on its governance. He made this statement while talking to reporters after visiting a temple near Bengaluru.
CM Bommai, after visiting a temple near Bengaluru, said that today was the most sacred day in the Hindu religion, and it has been a practice to get the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara. “As it is not possible to go to Tirupati, I came to Vyalikaval Venkateswara Temple of the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam, and prayed for the welfare of the people.”
“There will be a blessing from Lord Venkateswara in the current year. Venkateswara means development and prosperity. The state of Karnataka will witness unprecedented developments in the new year,” added CM Bommai.
When questioned about a BJP MLA’s name being mentioned in the suicide note of a person, the CM said, “An FIR has been filed. Law will take its course.”
On the health conditions of the Siddeshwara Seer, Bommai said the seer identified him but was unable to talk. Apart from this, all his body parameters were functioning normally. He recognised the voice of prime minister Narendra Modi, who had called to enquire about his health.
“I am in regular touch with the people concerned and getting health updates regularly. There is no need to panic. The seer has a special inner power with which he will win over ill health and will remain with us for a long time,” said CM Basavaraj Bommai.
