“Today, there was a delay due to all the papers of Sobhraj’s case coming from the Bhaktapur district. Today it is too late to bring all the case files from Kathmandu District Court and Bhaktapur District Court and read the copy of the Supreme Court’s order,” the lawyer said.

“It was 5-6 o’clock, and at that time all the employees of the education department had left. That’s why he could not be released today. He can be released anytime after 10 am tomorrow. There was not even a separate room arrangement for his stay in the education department. Since he is ill, a separate room will be arranged for him to stay in and he will be taken there tomorrow,” the lawyer said.
Charles Sobhraj has refused to talk to the media. When Shobhraj’s lawyer asked while coming out of jail whether he wanted to speak to the media or talk to him, Charles flatly refused. He told that he did not want to talk to any media. Although the jailers had agreed to let him speak to the media but Charles refused.
