‘Cirkus’ Side-Effect: Rohit Shetty’s trusted CEO George Cameron resigns – Exclusive – Times of India

It is not surprising that feathers get ruffled and some major decisions are taken if and when a project does not fructify. Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ has not hit the bull’s eye, but interestingly this decision was taken about a week before its release. ETimes brings you a big story herewith- FIRST and EXCLUSIVE. Buzz is, Rohit Shetty’s CEO and co-producer of ‘Cirkus’ George Cameron has quit Rohit Shetty’s production house.
We hear that Rohit and George developed differences during the making of ‘Cirkus’ and could not resolve them despite their best efforts. George and Rohit were together on every project of Rohit since ‘Golmaal’.

ETimes also has it that George is planning to become an independent producer. Our source says that George is often the main person who is in contact with actors from Rohit’s office regarding their money and dates both; so he has enough contact with everyone who matters in the industry and there are enough financers in tinsel town who believe in him. Besides, George is a talented person, whose roots got fixed in Bollywood when he started off as Suniel Shetty’s secretary and then went on to work with Priyadarshan rather extensively.
When contacted, George claimed that he has not parted ways with Rohit. He said he has been getting calls asking him the same- but he kept insisting that we should not bring this story out. Later we spoke again as he called up to insist the same. The call of duty won in the end, but not before we had reached out to Rohit’s official spokesperson asking him why Cameron had put in his papers. The spokesperson did not respond to our text message.

Friendship and friction are both quite fickle in Bollywood. We hope that George and Rohit resolve their issues and get back together again.
