Conspiracy by 3 dynastic political families to push Kashmir back in 90s: BJP leader Tarun Chugh

Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said the central government ensured peace, prosperity and development in the valley.

Tarun Chugh claimed that the abrogation of article 370 ensured the decentralisation of power in the valley.

By Sunil Bhat: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Incharge for Kashmir affairs, Tarun Chugh, on Sunday said that the Central government is executing all possible endeavours to ensure peace, prosperity and development for the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

“BJP will never let the three political families – Muftis, Abdullahs and Gandhis – in the region be successful in pushing Kashmir back to the times of the 90s,” said the BJP national general secretary.

Addressing a press conference, Tarun Chugh said, “New Delhi has played a major role in eliminating terrorism from the region of Jammu and Kashmir”, further adding, “The three families, which ruined the life of common people, are trying to fuel uncertainties in the valley.”

The BJP national secretary hit out at his political rivals, accusing them of making Kashmir a business for “loot” and encouraging youths to pick stones, AK 47, and grenades instead of laptops, books and pens.

The BJP leader claimed that the abrogation of article 370 ensured the decentralisation of power in the valley. He further said that the Assembly elections might soon be conducted as the election commission had started the preparation.

On the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the BJP leader said the former prime minister was the propellor of peace and gave a whole new direction to peace and development in the region.

The BJP’s Kashmir affairs incharge, on the Kashmiri pandit, said, “We are bound to protect the life of every citizen.”
