DMK organising secretary RS Bharathi said that few functionaries did not get a post in the party soon as they believed in one flag and one leader. RS Bharati told functionaries that they would get rewarded for remaining loyal to the party.

By Pramod Madhav: DMK organising secretary RS Bharathi was seen lamenting about how loyal partymen had to wait for a long time to get a post in the party. At an event honouring DMK former MP AA Jinnah (late), RS Bharathi said that they (loyal partymen) did not get a post soon as they believed in one flag and one leader.
“Those whom we brought to the party became ministers and MPs but for us, it was delayed. But we knew that someday, we would get the post”, stated RS Bharathi, Organisational Secretary of DMK.
“This happened because we stayed patient, believing in one flag and one leader and I became an MP when I was 63 years old”, stated RS Bharathi, in a way to motivate the partymen. He said that one should stick to the party and be loyal without expecting any post to digest such things.

RS Bharathi also claimed that he couldn’t accept anyone who left the party and came back. “Those who betrayed and back stabbed us will come back and will caress us. But neither Jinnah nor I will accept it”, stated RS Bharathi.
“We didn’t just join the party for the sake of it, but there was a thought behind it,” stated RS Bharathi.
“We remained loyal to the party and got the posts. So, those who remain loyal to the party will get posts at some point in time,” Bharathi said.
