Sunita, a daily wage worker, used to raise her three children. Now that she is not working and is admitted to the hospital, she is stressed about her children’s well-being.

“I have three children. My husband left them with me. Now I am admitted to the hospital. I am counting the days of death. I don’t know how many days are left for me. But what was my mistake? What will happen to these children after me? How will they survive?”

Many people came forward to donate kidneys, but it couldn’t be matched.

Until a few days ago, Sunita’s husband, Aklu Ram, was also with her. He was also ready to donate a kidney to her, but his kidney also did not match. The husband had a fight with Sunita over some issue and he ran away, leaving the three children with her.

While leaving, Aklu Ram told Sunita that he can’t live his life with her now and that’s why he left. Sunita said, “I used to work as a labourer when I was healthy and used to take care of the family. Now that I am unwell, he left me and said,’ it is difficult to live with you now. I don’t care if you live or die.’”

When the woman’s condition deteriorated, the doctor and clinic director Pawan admitted her to a nursing home in Patna and fled. The police have arrested Pawan and sent him to jail.
