Don’t run Punjab govt from Delhi: Rahul Gandhi’s jibe at Bhagwant Mann

Rahul Gandhi claimed that Kejriwal is running the Punjab government from Delhi and advised Bhawant Mann not to be a remote control CM.

By India Today Web Desk: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday slammed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led government in Punjab and said that Punjab should be run from Punjab and not from Delhi.

While addressing a gathering during his flagship Bharat Jodo Yatra which is currently in the border state, Rahul Gandhi even slammed Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal.

Rahul Gandhi claimed that Kejriwal is running the Punjab government from Delhi and advised Bhawant Mann not to be a “remote control CM”.

“Punjab should be run from Punjab and not from Delhi. I would like to say to CM Bhagwant Mann that he is CM of Punjab and should not come under the pressure of Delhi and Arvind Kejriwal. He must work independently and should not become someone’s remote control,” Rahul Gandhi said.

“This is about the history and pride of Punjab. You should work independently. You should talk to farmers and labourers with his heart,” Rahul Gandhi told Bhagwant Mann.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi also said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra was getting an overwhelming response and targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Centre over the issue of unemployment and inflation.

The Wayanad MP again reiterated that Yatra is opening the shops of love in the market of hatred.
