Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay said he does not trust the SIT formed by the state government.
By Abdul Basheer: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana unit chief Bandhi Sanjay on Saturday refused to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the state government to probe Telangana Public Service Commission (TPSC) paper leak case.
Bandi Sanjay said he does not trust the SIT formed by the state government, also adding that he is currently busy with the ongoing parliament.
“Despite the categorical assertion that I made in my earlier communication to you — that I have no trust in the SIT, which has been constituted by the state government — and that I have been busy with the ongoing Parliament session, you preferred to repeat the notice,” the state BJP chief wrote to the SIT.
“I have no qualms with your refusal to understand the valid reasons for my inability to appear before you on a date decided by you, as I can surmise your compulsions,” he further said.
The SIT has been issuing notices to the BJP chief to submit evidence on the allegations made by him in the TSPSC paper leak case.
A few days ago, Telangana Minister KTR sent legal notices to Congress’s state unit chief Revanth Reddy and the BJP chief over the TPSC paper leak case.
The minister accused chiefs of both parties of weaving political conspiracy and dismissed their allegations against him as baseless and false.
The minister said that legal notices were sent to both leaders for conspiring to discredit the government by dragging his name into the TSPSC issue.
The Telangana State Public Service Commission on March 15 ordered the cancellation of the Assistant Engineer (Civil) examination held on March 5.
