Zeeshan Khan, who made his relationship official with his former co-star and actress Rehyna Pandit in October 2021, has called it quits. The couple, who were head-over heels in love with each other, have parted ways but remain to be good friends. Today, the actor took to his Instagram story and shared a note thanking his girlfriend for giving him good memories. He wrote, “Thank You for all the good times! And wish you all the best for your future! Goodbye @Rehynapandit.”
ETimes TV reached out to Zeeshan Khan, who confirmed the breakup and shared, “Yes, we decided to part ways.”
When we quizzed him about the reason, the actor said, “Everything was going good but there are times when everything is going good, two people are nice with each other but sometimes it doesn’t work out. It is not like something has gone wrong with Reyhna and me, it’s just that things were not working out. So we decided to part ways. Love is still there, we decided to be friends and not take this forward. Because when you stretch it and take it forward, it might turn ugly, rather be good friends and let the love remain than make things ugly.”
Zeeshan went on to share that he is going to miss Reyhna a lot as a friend, “Oh I am going to miss her everyday. But it’s just that something needs to be done and we have to do it. It is okay yaar hota hai.”
The Kumkum Bhaya actor opened up about how he is coping up with the breakup, “I am kind of okay, of course it is tough. I am just being at home and focussing on all the rozas and Inshallah I keep all 30, I have missed out on 1 till now. My entire focus is on that and work.”
While Zeeshan confirmed the breakup, Reyhna on the other hand, said. “I have nothing to say. I am not in a frame of mind to talk. Once I am ready, I’ll speak because it is a silly thing and I don’t want to make it public. It is a very silly fight and I don’t want to give any heed to. I know things will be alright in a few days. It is a silly fight over silly things.”
