An exhibition was organised at the Audrey House in Ranchi to showcase the skills of people with disabilities on the occasion of World Disability Day on Saturday.
By Satyajeet Kumar: On the occasion of World Disability Day, which is marked on December 3 every year, an exhibition was organised at the Audrey House in Ranchi to showcase the skills of people with disabilities.
Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji along with Ranchi MLA C P Singh also attended the exhibition that was organised to encourage disabled people who have won gold medals in different competitions at the national level. Many stalls at the exhibition put on sale items of daily use.
Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji encouraged disabled people to continue with their entrepreneurial ventures and said having such programmes increases the morale of disabled people. Ranchi MLA C P Singh said every person should always be ready to help the disabled people.
Sarthak ki Madhulika, the oufit that organized the same exhibition, said that our organization has been organizing many programs from time to time to improve the skills of differently-abled people.
On the other hand, the Jharkhand Divyang Andolan Sangh, protested in front of the Raj Bhavan to press their 21 points of demands. The government is not ready to listen to our demands, alleged the outfit.
