A lady was attacked with a sickle, knife and left bleeding inside a financial institution allegedly by her husband and his pal, over a property dispute in Tamil Nadu’s Theni.

The girl, recognized as Premalatha, sustained accidents and was rushed to a hospital. She was allegedly attacked by her husband Vellaichami and his pal on Tuesday.

Premalatha had visited the financial institution to deposit cash when Vellaichamy and his pal attacked her from behind with a sickle and a knife. The employees and bystanders surrounded the culprits however they managed to flee from the crime scene. The girl was left bleeding on the ground.

The preliminary investigation by Thevaram Police revealed that Premalatha and Vellaichami had been dwelling individually as Vellaichami suspected his spouse of getting a bootleg affair and was continually harassing her, demanding property in her title.

Police are looking out for the 2 suspects and have recovered video proof of the assault recorded on the cell phone of one other buyer current throughout the assault.
