Her all-black dress had a tie-up design at the back and a bodycon style. All of that, however, was overshadowed by the ornament with the lion face that was fastened to her outfit.
Kylie, who recently became viral online for posting images of her son Aire, accessorised the gown with a side-parted updo, golden earrings, and minimal neutral-toned makeup.
The over-the-top outfit did cause a furore on the internet, with social media users slamming it by calling it bizarre and “most stupid thing” they had ever seen.
“Halloween is over,” a social media user quipped. “Typical Leo behaviour,” wrote another user. “Why? Just why? No one needs that,” commented another user on the video.
According to a CNN report, a few moments after Kylie took the seat at the fashion show, the lion outfit was spotted again on the runway alongside a series of other animal-inspired ensembles.
As per the report, “The collection was inspired by Dante’s “Inferno” and the nine circles of hell — a metaphor for the doubt and creative torment all artists experience, wrote creative director Daniel Roseberry. Drawing literally from the three beasts that appear in the 14th century poem, Roseberry reimagined the leopard, the lion and the she-wolf in the collection; “representing lust, pride and avarice respectively.” Naomi Campbell modeled a boxy, black faux fur coat with a wolf’s head emerging from the left shoulder, while Canadian model Shalom Harlow wore a strapless snow leopard tube dress with a roaring feline head bursting through the bust.”
