By Abdul Basheer: Internal bickering in the Telangana Congress intensified with several senior leaders, including a party MP and the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader, expressing concern over various party affairs. They alleged that migrants ( leaders who switched parties) were allotted posts rather than party loyalists.

Meanwhile, several senior leaders of the party alleged a conspiracy was underway to weaken the party and take over the party by undermining the loyal & senior leaders. Several senior Congress leaders also expressed dissatisfaction against Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief, Revanth Reddy.

They further expressed distress over the new Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) announced for the state unit by the All India Congress Committee AICC. They alleged that most of the “migrants” had been allotted posts rather than the party loyalists.

However, former Congress MLA, E Anil, took exception to terming some party leaders as “migrants.”

Appealing to the senior leaders that there should be a united fight against the governments (Bharat Rashtra Samithi in Telangana and Bharatiya Janata Party at the centre). He said, “During the Munugodu Bypoll, Venkat Reddy Komatireddy had asked the Congress Party cadre to support the BJP Candidate and his brother Rajgopal Reddy. He is a coward, working against the Congress party and in favour of the BJP. I ask the seniors as to why are they not speaking about it?” he asked.

Meanwhile, A PCC-wide working group meeting was called by the TPCC chief Revanth Reddy at Indira Bhavan in Hyderabad to discuss the preparations for the “Hath se Hath Jodo Yatra” to commence on January 26.
