Meanwhile, in the second episode, Malaika was offered a role by director Farhad Samji who directed ‘Housefull 3’ with Sajid Samji. Farhad is also directing Salman Khan’s next, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. Farhad narrated the script to Malaika on the show where Malaika was supposed to say dialogues of 90 pages from a 100 page script. That itself was a nightmare for Malaika.
Further, Farhad described her role as a middle-class girl who speaks only Hindi and is aspiring to be a stand-up comedian. The writer-director expressed that usually only different content works these days hence this girl comes from a traditional background but is a blabber mouth.
Malaika’s expression while Farhad narrated the role to her was hard to miss. She instantly felt that she couldn’t do it. Later, her friend Neha Dhupia came to meet her and they discussed the idea of doing a stand-up act. Interestingly, Malaika had turned to Amrita Arora for advice on this instead of boyfriend Arjun Kapoor. Neha gave her a reality check and said, “Ammu is lovely but she worked 15 years ago. Arjun is a bona fide star who’s working in a movie.”
But during the conversation, Amrita told Malaika to try her hand at stand-up comedy first. In today’s episode it will be revealed if she will be able to pull it off.
