Featuring LED headlamps, tail-lamps and LED DRLs, the MG Comet EV gets dual-tone exterior and an LED strip running across the width of the car at the front and rear. Dimensionally, the Comet EV measures 2,974mm in length, 1,505mm in width and 1,631mm in height. The MG Comet EV wheelbase is 2,010mm. The EV runs on 12-inch alloy wheels.

Moving on to the interior, the MG Comet EV sports a two-spoke steering wheel with pod-like controls, a floating dual 10.25-inch screens for a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster, 12-V charging port, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moreover, the Comet EV is also equipped with in-built iSmart system with 55+ connected car features and a digital Bluetooth key with sharing of up to two people. It gets three drive modes – Eco, Normal and Sport.

The five-seater car, the MG Comet EV is powered by a 17.3 kWh lithium-ion battery that offers a claimed range of 230 km on a single charge. The rear axle-mounted PMS electric motor produces a peak power of 41.1 hp and a max torque of 110 Nm. The EV’s battery can be charged from 0-100 percent in seven hours and 10-80 percent in five hours.

For safety, the MG Comet EV comes equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking camera and sensor, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, front and rear three-point seat belts and ISOFIX child seat.
