One of the brothers died after falling from the roof in Surat while the other brother was found lying in the water tank in Rajasthan on Wednesday.

By India Today Web Desk: Two brothers died within hours under similar circumstances in Hodu village of Sindhari town in Rajasthan’s Barmer. The death of both the brothers left the whole village traumatized.
The elder brother reached home after the death of his younger brother and died after falling into a water tank. Both the brothers were cremated on the same pyre.
A resident of Hodu village, 26-year-old Sumer Singh used to work in Surat, Gujarat. He fell down from the roof after slipping. Singh died in the hospital during treatment. The elder brother, Sohan, was called for the younger brother’s funeral.

Sohan was filling a bucket of water from a tank located at some distance from the house a day later, on Wednesday, when he suddenly fell into it and died.
The 28-year-old Sohan Singh was studying in Jaipur and preparing for competition exams.

When Sohan did not return home for a long time, the family members went near the tank and saw that his body was floating in the water. The matter was immediately reported to the police and the body was sent for postmortem.
Police have started investigating the matter from every angle.
According to Sindhari police station officer Surendra Singh, one of the brothers died after falling from the roof in Surat while the other brother was found lying in the water tank.
