But ever since ‘Dunki’ was announced, people are looking forward to seeing what Rajkumar Hirani will create with SRK. This collaboration was quite unexpected and equally exciting!
Now that the film is counting days for release, casting director Mukesh Chhabrahas spoken about ‘Dunki’ in an interview.Mukesh who’s done the film’s casting said in a chat with Indian Express, that he was blown away by the script of ‘Dunki’. He added that if people liked ‘3 Idiots’, than ‘Dunki’ is 100 times better than that. He has cried every time he read the script.
He further added that ‘Dunki’ is the purest form of film-making, just like we feel in case of movies like Rajesh Khanna’s ‘Anand’ and other Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s movies like ‘Do Aankhen Barah Haath’. One will get a similar feeling after watching ‘Dunki’, is what he truly feels from his heart. Hence, he thinks, the film will break all the records and will be a blockbuster.
Chhabra spoke about working with Rajkumar Hirani, and said that collaborating with a director like him, is like an entire film school. One learns every aspect of film-making working with a director like him. The casting director has worked with Hirani in other movies like ‘Sanju’ and ‘PK’.
