Rizwan has been representing Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya in Court, too, as the couple are currently going through a much-publicised separation with Aaliya having alleged mistreatment at the hands of Nawaz’s family. During a conversation with Aaliya’s lawyer Rizwan, it was revealed that she is currently going through financial distress.
As ETimes enquired about Aaliya’s current status, her lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee said, “She does not have money for basic food.” With very little help and hardly anyone to lend her support Aaliya has been fending for herself. Siddiquee added, “She is eating from the ration that is being sent for the children.”
Rizwan further revealed, “She does not get any money in hand. Nawaz is sending food for the children. All three (Aaliya and their children Shora and Yaani) are eating from the ration.”
In the recent past, Rizwan and Aaliya have alleged that Aaliya was not given food and access to the bathroom while she was living with Nawazuddin’s family. They further alleged that the actor’s family tried to force her out of their house, while she is still married to Nawazuddin. In response, Nawaz’s lawyer held a press conference in Delhi and alleged that Aaliya was still married to her first husband Vinay Bhargav.
