An unidentified militant was killed in an encounter with safety forces in Nowgam space of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Wednesday, the police stated.

Inspector Common of Police in Kashmir Vijay Kumar advised India Right now that militants of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organisation had been trapped within the encounter, which was nonetheless underway as of Wednesday morning.

The militants involved had been concerned within the latest killing of sarpanch Sameer Bhat, Vijay Kumar stated. Sameer Bhat was shot lifeless on March 9 on the outskirts of Srinagar.
