The 22-year-old said that she is very excited to start her Bollywood journey adding that everything in her life was about reaching this point. She said that she has been working very hard and trying her best when it comes to preparation before her arrival on the big screen.
Though many people had believed that she will follow her mother’s footsteps by starting her acting journey with TV, Palak said that Bollywood has always been in her mind. “My heart was always stuck on Bollywood. I owe everything that I am and everything that my family is to television, but my heart and eyes were always at the Bollywood,” she told Hindustan Times.
Talking about the expectations, Palak said, “It comes with all the pressure in the whole world. It comes with pressure that could crumble you and crush you. But I’m trying to make sure it doesn’t wither me out. On the other hand, it comes with this overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude. I’m trying to focus on the positives right now.”
Palak also expressed her gratitude towards all the people who have been instrumental in helping her where she is today and thanked them for giving her a chance to live her dream. “I want to make everyone proud and not disappoint anybody,” she concluded.
