Punjab CM on 2-day visit to Chennai, Hyderabad to meet industrial giants to attract investments

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday started his two-day tour to Chennai and Hyderabad to woo the industrial giants for investment in the state.

By Kamaljit Kaur Sandhu: In order to further propel industrial growth in the state, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday started his two-day tour to Chennai and Hyderabad to woo the industrial giants for investment.

The CM reached Chennai where he will be meeting business delegations and prominent companies on December 19 to rope in investments and strategic tie-ups in key sectors. He will also be having interactive meetings with captains of industry in Hyderabad on December 20.

Bhagwant Mann’s visit is likely to immensely benefit the state in roping in huge investments, technical know-how and expertise from big companies.

The chief minister will also be extending the invitation to the industrialists for the Investment Summit to be organised by the Punjab government on February 23 and 24 in Mohali.

Chief minister Bhagwant Mann reiterated his firm commitment to making the state into an industrial hub, adding that the state government will leave no stone unturned for it. He said that every effort is being made to put the state in the orbit of the high-growth trajectory of industrial development.

Bhagwant Mann said, “I will personally showcase Punjab as a land of opportunities and growth for entrepreneurs. He expressed hope that this tour will prove to be a milestone towards giving a major fillip to the industrial growth of the state.”
