Punjab Minister Harjot Singh Bains to tie knot with IPS officer Jyoti Yadav

By India Today News Desk: Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Anandpur Sahib constituency, Harjot Singh Bains, who is the education minister in the Punjab Cabinet will tie the knot with IPS officer Jyoti Yadav later this month, as per reports.

Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh took to Twitter to congratulate the couple for their “new journey” ahead in the coming days.

32-year-old Bains hails from Gambhirpur village in Anandpur Sahib and he is a first-time legislator for the seat. He is an advocate by profession and earlier, he led the AAP’s youth wing in Punjab. His alma mater is Panjab University in Chandigarh and he graduated in 2014.

Jyoti Yadav, a Punjab-cadre IPS officer, is posted as superintendent of police in the Mansa district. She hails from Gurugram.
