Murthy walked into the Westminster Abbey, dressed in a light blue satin dress, almost reminding us of Cinderella.
The subtle tea dress featured a classic botanical print along with puff sleeves and a belt, which was cinched at the waist.
She paired the A-line skirt dress with a wedged black hat, a black clutch, and black pumps.
Sunak looked sharp in a long black coat which he teamed up with a crisp white shirt, a blue tie, and grey trousers.
The couple was also invited to an exclusive coronation reception at Buckingham Palace on Friday 5 May and are also expected to be a part of the coronation concert which will be held tomorrow.
Sunak, is the first Indian-origin leader and the first-ever Hindu incumbent of 10 Downing Street to play an active role in the ceremony held at Westminster Abbey on Saturday. Sunak read some pages from the biblical book of Colossians, keeping up with the recent tradition of UK Prime Ministers giving readings at State occasions.
He and his wife also led the procession of flag-bearers as the UK’s flag was carried into the Abbey by a high-ranking Royal Air Force (RAF) cadet.
“In the Abbey where monarchs have been crowned for almost a thousand years, representatives of every faith will play a central role for the first time,” said Sunak, in a statement on the eve of the historic event.
“The Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be a moment of extraordinary national pride. Together with friends from across the Commonwealth and beyond, we will celebrate the enduring nature of our great monarchy: its constancy, devotion to duty, and service to others. No other country could put on such a dazzling display – the processions, the pageantry, the ceremonies, and street parties,” he said.
