Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan‘ is set to release on September 7. While the film’s advance bookings had begun overseas a few days ago, now the advances have opened in Mumbai. The film directed by Atlee also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and fans are also excited to see this hero-villain equation on screen between actors like SRK and Vijay.
Book My Show, has opened the advance bookings of ‘Jawan’ but only in Hindi and in Mumbai.These bookings have opened only in two theatres – PVR Infinity Malad and PVR Icon: Pheonix Palladium, Lower Parel. The shows are available in both 2D and IMAX 2D, though the latter is available only in PVR ICON, Lower Parel.
So, at the moment, there are very less choices available, but ardent Shah Rukh fans must already be lapping upon these shows. At the moment, in these two theatres the advance bookings have opened only from September 7 to September 10. There’s Janmashami celebrations on September 7 and 8 and followed by a weekend on September 9 and 10, and that holiday period would indeed benefit the film’s collection.
The earliest show of Jawan in Mumbai, as of now, is at 7:45 am at PVR: Infinity, Malad. There are shows throughout the day, leading up to the last show at 11:40 pm in PVR ICON, Lower Parel. The IMAX shows are also kept all through the day. As far as the price of the tickets are concerned, the morning shows of IMAX are from Rs 400 to Rs 1200 but the same shows during evening are at Rs 700 to Rs 1850. As far as the normal 2D shows are concerned, the price ranges from Rs 220 to Rs 750 for the morning shows. The evening shows see a hike and will start from Rs 300 onwards.
