By Ashish Srivastava: Singer Kailash Kher, who arrived to perform at the inaugural ceremony of Khelo India University Games in Lucknow, lost his cool during the function on Thursday.
Miffed at the mismanagement at the Khelo India function, the singer angrily said he was made to wait for an hour. Videos of the same are going viral on social media.
“Zyada command dikhayi jaa rahi hain (excessive attitude is being shown). I am Yogi Adityanath’s favourite. Commando giri waha dikhao jaha dikhayi jaaye (show this attitude where it needs to be shown),” the singer said, asking the audience to learn manners.
In the videos, he was heard complaining that he was made to wait for over an hour and the singer also accused the organisers of mismanagement and bad behaviour.
‘WAS MADE TO WAIT FOR AN HOUR’
With a mic in one hand, Kailash Kher, in one of the viral videos, apparently annoyed, was heard saying loudly, “Tameez seekho (Learn some manners). I was made to wait for an hour. What kind of Khelo India is this? Does it happen like this? It doesn’t work like thatâæ.”
In another video, he was also heard stating that despite the delay and mismanagement, he performed for the audience and the country.
“I have been called here to perform for you people. You should know that this one and hours are allocated only to us,” the singer said.

Giving a stern message to those creating chaos, Kailash Kher said, “Even Maharaj Yogi ji adores us. We want to touch the feet of every Indian but first things should be organised. Attention must be paid to this. Don’t do this.”
However, after a while, the singer returned to his normal self and said, “I was panting. Our breaths were getting heavy but still, we were singing and dancing.”
At the end of the opening ceremony, Kailash Kher won everyone’s hearts with his singing.
The players present in the stadium danced to his songs. He sang his super hit songs from ‘Babm Babm Bam’, ‘Mangal Mangal’, and ‘Gaura’.
