Teaser of Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Shehzada’ to be attached to ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ – Times of India

Kartik Aaryan has made his way to the top slot of actors after delivering a huge hit in the form of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. So much so, that he’s touted as the new ‘Shehzada’ of Bollywood with back-to-back interesting offers and projects in the pipeline. Of course, that’s also got to do with the title of his next release. On Kartik’s birthday on November 22, the makers of ‘Shehzada’ had launched the film’s first look.

Now the latest buzz is that the teaser of the film will be attached with ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ which is releasing today. There’s already immense buzz surrounding this James Cameron movie and one expects the film to bring in huge footfalls in the theatres along with those numbers. Hence, little wonder then, that more people will be exposed to the teaser of ‘Shehzada’ and thus, there’ll be more anticipation surrounding the film.

‘Shehzada’ is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu hit ‘Ala vaikunthapurramuloo’ which starred Arjuna long with Pooja Hegde. The film also had Tabu. The Hindi version has Kriti Sanon alongside Kartik Aaryan. The release of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ has led to a huge ride in Allu’s popularity even among the audience in the north. Hence, many viewers are also questioning if Kartik will be able to fill in Allu’s shoes. But the makers seem to have changed some bits of the film to suit the Hindi audiences. Meanwhile, looking at Kartik’s current ‘success’ streak even with ‘Freddy’, he can be expected to do justice to Allu.


‘Shehzada’ is set to release on February 10, 2023. The film is directed by Rohit Dhawan of ‘Desi Boyz’ fame. Kartik will also be seen in ‘Aashiqui 3’ and there’s too much speculation about him being a part of ‘Hera Pheri 3’. At the moment, he’s shooting for ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’.
