Tollywood actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna passes away – Times of India

<p>If playing a single role effectively with intense action and emotions is a huge task these days, some actors have played dual and triple roles and yet made their movies blockbusters with their acting and engaging screenplays. The upcoming Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s film ‘Amigos’ features him in three roles the feat earlier repeated by his brother Jr.NTR in ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ (2017). <p>Sr NTR’s 1977 film ‘Daana Veera Soora Karna’ is a film based on Hindu Mythology in which Sr.NTR played the title character Karna beside Lord Krishna and Duryodhana. The film was based on the life of Lord Karna from ‘Mahabharata’ which is also co-written, produced and directed by NTR Rama Rao. <p>Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 2012 film ‘Adi Nayakudu’ written and directed by Paruchuri Murali starred Nandamuri Balakrishna in triple roles. <p>The 1990 Tamil comedy film ‘Michael Madana Kama Rajan’ (1990) written by Kader Kashmiri and directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao featured Kamal Haasan in four roles. The film has its music composed by Ilayaraja while its cinematography was performed by B.C.Gowrishankar and the film were edited by D. Vasu. <p>Nandamuri Kalyanram’s 2023 film ‘Amigos’ written and directed by Rajendra Reddy features him in doppelganger roles as Siddharth an entrepreneur, Manjunath a software engineer and the Gangster Michael.
