Uorfi Javed, who had gone to attend the launch of designer Amit Aggarwal‘s store in Delhi, returned to Mumbai last night (May 6). She was spotted by paps sporting a pretty pastel yellow dress with hoops.
When paps told her that she has now become rich by attending such events, Uorfi replied, “Aise paise nahi milte…guest bulake koi paisa nahi milta hai (You don’t earn money by going as a guest somewhere).”
She continued, “Mein hamesha se hi ameer thi bas tab account mein paise nahi the. Dimaag se toh mein hamesha se ameer thi (I was rich earlier also but didn’t have money, I was always wise and intelligent otherwise).”
Soon fans began to trickle in to take selfies with her. There were a few who Uorfi obliged smilingly. However, when she began to get mobbed for too many photographs, the actress said jokingly, “Paise nikalo.”
She told paps, “Aise banungi ameer (This is how I will become rich).” She even reprimanded one for taking 10 photos with her and asked him to give her Rs 1000. However, later, Uorfi got clicked with all those waiting before stepping into her car.

Uorfi was present at the launch of Amit Aggarwal’s store in Delhi where she met the OG Zeenat Aman. Their candid photo left many wondering what they could be talking about. Uorfi was also seen socialising with several popular Delhi influencers who were called at the event.
The actress’ appearance at the high-end fashion designer’s store launch is the second this year. Earlier, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla had roped in Uorfi for their fashion campaign and she also attended one of their fashion events in Mumbai.
