Watch: Dehradun daredevil caught by cops after posting stunt video, Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R seized –

Performing car or bike stunts on public roads not only poses a threat to one’s own life, but also puts the lives of other road users in danger. However the ever-growing need for validation on social media makes some indulge in such nuisance acts. One such incident has emerged from Dehradun in Uttarakhand, where a case as registered against a vlogger for stunting on his Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R superbike, and posting the video on YouTube.
Dehradun Police took to Twitter to announce that they have seized the vlogger’s motorcycle and registered a case under relevant sections. Moreover, the cops made the accused record an apology as well as an appeal to the general public to follow traffic rules. Here is the original tweet as posted by Uttarakhand Police –

The video posted along with the tweet shows the YouTube vlogger riding his Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R motorcycle, cutting through traffic and even performing a wheelie on a public road. Apart from a helmet, the rider seems to be wearing no protection gear either. Netizens were all praise for the swift action taken by the authorities.

Moreover, Uttarakhand Police has also issued a warning saying that driving a vehicle recklessly can result in you being booked under the sections 184 and 189 of the Motor Vehicles Act. In addition, a case could also be registered against you under section 279 of the Indian Penal Code.
